REV. HENRY T. ROSE, Pastor of Plymouth Church, was born May 1, 1843, in Centreville, New York.  Fitting for college at Rockford, Ill., he graduated at Beloit College, in the class of 1866, and from Union Theological Seminary, N.Y., in 1869.  He was ordained May 30, 1870, his first charge being the Congregational Church at Lombard, Ill.  Leaving for Grand Haven, Mich., in 1872, he was pastor of the First Presbyterian Church until October, 1875, when he accepted a call to Plymouth Church.  Mr. ROSE is a trustee of Beloit College and director of the Chicago Theological Seminary; is a finished pulpit orator and a faithful worker in religious circles.  He was married January 17, 1870, to Miss Mary CROMWELL, formerly of Brooklyn, N.Y.  They have had two children, Gertrude Merritt, who died November 19, 1874, in Grand Haven, aged 3 years, and Helen Cromwell.  Residence, No. 180 Biddle Street.
